I had the joy of capturing one of my former couples, Ashley and Matt, along with their sweetest new addition to their family, baby Matthew, named after his doting father. This dreamy at-home lifestyle newborn session was a special treat. Upon arrival, I was warmly welcomed into Ashley and Matt’s home and from there captured all the sweet and tender moments of this beautiful new family of three.
At-Home Lifestyle Newborn Session
I know Ashley and Matt from when I photographed their timeless Cairnwood Estate Wedding in Bryn Athyn, PA. I love staying in touch with my wedding couples. It is such a huge honor to continue to document these special life moments and watch families grow. Needless to say, when they reached out to me about photographing their baby boy, I was thrilled! In-home lifestyle sessions are my favorite, as I enjoy seeing families together in the comfort of their own home, cuddled up next to each other. I also love the opportunity to capture details of the nursery and all the love that was poured into making this room.
Baby Matthew is absolutely precious. He slept intermittently throughout the session, but was always content in his parents’ loving arms. I can tell that Ashley and Matt are the most wonderful parents. They are already pros at this whole parenting thing – you could just see the love surrounding this family in every photo. It meant so much to me to be able to capture these early family memories of baby Matthew’s arrival.
Thankfully, I won’t have to wait long to see Ashley and Matt again, as I will be photographing Ashley’s brother’s wedding later this year at Renault Winery. I captured her brother, Ryan, and his beautiful bride-to-be, Samantha’s engagement photos at Valley Forge, last summer. You can view their romantic engagement session here! It means so much to me that not only do Matt and Ashley trust me to capture their important life moments, but their other family members do as well.
I am looking forward to seeing everyone soon and can hardly wait to see how much baby Matthew has grown!
