I am thrilled to share Erika and Ryan’s stunning Cross Gables Estate Wedding. Cross Gables Estate is an elegant, brand new venue located in Exton, PA. Erika and Ryan were the venue’s first large wedding and it went beautifully! Their wedding day was magical and filled with so many wonderful moments.
Erika surprised Ryan with three different looks throughout their wedding day! As she got ready for the traditional church wedding ceremony, she got into her stunning wedding gown. This elegant and classic, ball gown style dress was exquisite. Erika was definitely the belle of the ball! The long train of her wedding gown flowed behind her as she headed to the ceremony in a 1962 Rolls Royce Silver Cloud II to marry Ryan.
Cross Gables Estate Wedding
After their lovely ceremony, the newlyweds exited the church and drove off in the luxurious Rolls Royce. This exact same iconic car can be seen in another wedding I captured previously at the elegant Cairnwood Estate. The couple arrived at Cross Gables Estate for their reception, but before entering the elegant outdoor tented area, Erika did a quick wardrobe change into a modern, chic wedding dress with royal blue heels. It was a wonderful surprise for Ryan who had no idea she had another dress!
Lush and timeless florals decorated the center of the tables and stringed lights hung from the tent ceiling creating a romantic atmosphere. Their timeless details were highlighted by the venue’s natural beauty and historic charm. The newlyweds celebrated their union with their friends and family into the evening hours. However, the guests had no idea the couple planned a surprise “speakeasy” after party! As the night was winding down, cards were discreetly given to all the guests that read “Stables 10PM Password: REAL LOVE”.
Their Love Story
As guests made their way to the after party, Erika changed into her final dress of the evening. The speakeasy surprise was so much fun for both the couple and their guests! Their idea for the password, Real Love, came from their own love story!
The couple’s relationship actually started at a wedding! Yes you read that right. They met at Erika’s brother’s wedding. Ryan was his college roommate and also in the wedding. Ryan and Erika were paired to go down the aisle together at the wedding, and the rest is history! You really can’t ask for a better love story than that!
In getting to know Erika and Ryan and asking them about how they met and their relationship today, they shared that, “the past 4 years have been quite the journey. From our spontaneous trips around the country to relaxing weekends away just the two of us, and all the special moments in between with our families. Our time together has been filled with lots of happiness and excitement. Even with all the excitement there have been difficult moments our families have experienced. During these moments our love and commitment for each other never dwindled. The moment God brought us together we knew this was Real Love.”
Erika and Ryan, your wedding day was a dream! I loved experiencing your luxurious and elegant wedding day vision come to life. Your love is inspiring. Thank you for allowing me to be a part of your wedding day!
