I had the pleasure of photographing this elegant Crystal Plaza editorial at Crystal Plaza in Livingston, NJ. The venue, built in the late 1800s by famed architect Stanford White, radiates timeless 19th-century grandeur. Their dedicated team makes every event unforgettable, and this shoot was no exception.
The Breathtaking Grand Ballroom at Crystal Plaza
We shot inside the breathtaking Grand Ballroom, Crystal Plaza’s crown jewel. The 5,000-square-foot space stuns with over 30 crystal chandeliers and a magnificent gold-detailed ceiling. Marble floors, ornate columns, and towering glass windows create a setting that feels both grand and inviting.
The color palette for this styled shoot was pure perfection. Soft peaches, pinks, whites, and rich golds filled the room with warmth and elegance. Peach-colored tulips hung upside down above the tables, creating whimsical tall centerpieces. Each table featured beautiful floral-patterned linens that brought everything together seamlessly.
Our bride wore a stunning lace gown with an open back, long sleeves, and a dreamy cape cascading from each shoulder. Her vibrant pink heels from Something Bleu added a fun, bold pop to her look. The lace and cape combination gave her the appearance of delicate, romantic wings as she moved.
