The Merion Tribute House, located in the beautiful Pennsylvania town of Merion Station, is a stunning and historic venue where I recently captured a breathtaking fall styled wedding shoot. This Merion Tribute House wedding shoot showcased the beauty and elegance of this remarkable location. This shoot was captured entirely on film, which added a sense of timelessness and authenticity to the images.
Merion Tribute House Styled Wedding
The Merion Tribute House is a truly special location, with its beautiful stone exterior, lush greenery, and elegant style. The fall season is the perfect time to showcase this beauty, with the changing colors of the leaves and the crispness of the air. The styled shoot took full advantage of this, with a color palette that included white, pale oranges and pinks, as well as natural greenery. The classic car cream colored car with red interior from Michael’s Motorcars was the perfect addition to the shoot.
The shoot itself was a masterpiece of styling and design, with every detail carefully thought out and executed to perfection. From the stunning floral arrangements by Winsome Floral, to the elegant table settings, and the beautiful, Ephemerl bridal gown featuring a floral lace design, every element of the shoot was designed to showcase the beauty of the Merion Tribute House and the fall season.
One of the most unique aspects of this shoot was the use of medium format film to capture some of the images, which I sent out to the west coast to be developed. While I typically only use film for events like vacations when I don’t mind waiting for the film, it was a nice change in pace not being able to instantly see the image on the back of my camera. Film photography has a unique quality that cannot be replicated by digital photography, with its rich colors, soft focus, and beautiful grain. The use of film added an extra layer of sophistication and timelessness to the images, making them truly unforgettable.
