Melissa and Nick’s romantic Old City Philadelphia engagement session was an absolute dream! We started their session ona gorgeous spring day at the iconic Merchants Exchange Building. The building’s stunning greek revival inspired architecture, historic columns, and cobblestone sidewalks added a touch of old-world charm and a timeless feel to their images, while also providing the perfect backdrop for capturing their love story.
For the next part of our session, we headed over to the Second Bank of the United States, which continued the classic and timeless feel of their portraits. Melissa’s chic and flowy linen dress from Reformation was the perfect choice for the look and style of this couple’s timeless and romantic engagement session. Nick also looked dapper in his navy suit jacket and khaki pants.
Romantic Old City Philadelphia Engagement Session
Melissa and Nick are such a fun couple, and I had the greatest time getting to know them. They shared with me that they met at Penn State during their senior year of college and have been together ever since. Their journey together has taken them on many adventures, including moves to Boston, graduate school, and more.
Their proposal story is romantic and sweet. Nick proposed to Melissa at place they call “the point,” a picturesque spot along the beach in North Wildwood, NJ. After the proposal, their family was eagerly waiting for their return back at the family beach house. It was a magical moment that they will never forget!
Melissa and Nick will be tying the knot this summer at the Inn at Fernbrook Farms. With their timeless and classic style, I have no doubt that their wedding will be a stunning affair. I can’t wait to capture the next chapter of their story later this summer!
