Modern and chic elements filled every corner of Kayla and Mark’s wedding at The Lucy, Cescaphe Event Group’s newest venue in the heart of Philadelphia. This stylish day was also featured on Carats and Cake!
Kayla got ready in her beautiful childhood home outside of the city, with her mother and eight bridesmaids. She wore a gorgeous fitted and strapless Pronovias dress. The sweetest part was her mother helping button up the back—it was such a gentle, loving, mother-daughter moment.
Jimmy Choo shoes are a dream for many brides, and Kayla’s wedding day pair was stunning. The close-toed pumps were patterned with elegant lace fabric. For hair and makeup, Kayla went for an effortlessly chic look, her hair styled with loose waves and her eyes rocking subtle smokey hues. Her bridesmaids posed in dusty rose robes before putting on Dessy dresses in the same shade. They were such a fun and loyal squad, supporting Kayla all day long.
After a joyful first look and portrait session at the historic Merchant Exchange Building in Old City, Philadelphia, the bride and groom headed to Broad Street for some photos in front of Philly’s iconic City Hall. Aside from being gorgeous on its own, The Lucy by Cescaphe is situated near so many landmarks that are perfect for wedding day photography!
The Lucy is the epitome of downtown chic, with brass accents throughout the venue’s modern chandeliers and dining chairs, sophisticated chevron wood floors, and trendy white-painted brick. Guests found their tables (decorated with sumptuous high arrangements bursting with greens) thanks to an oversized framed seating arrangement chart. Dinner, dancing, and a decadent four-tiered cake sealed off this opulent city wedding.
