Taking part in the Philadelphia based Styled Shoots Across America at the stunning Cairnwood Estate was an amazing experience. In this fourth styled shoot, the great room of the historic estate was transformed for a whimsical garden inspired wedding. The amount of planning and details that went into creating this shoot were well worth it as it all came together beautifully.
The dramatic staircase in the center of the great room, was bordered with the most magical flower display by Blomst Floral Design. Romantic hues of pink and purple flowers with a mixture of white accent flowers adorned the two-story staircase. Green vines intertwined the flowers and hung down drawing your eyes upwards to take in the beauty of the display.
Whimsical Garden Inspired Wedding
The bride wore an enchanting, off-shoulder wedding gown from Styled Gowns that had a romantic, fairytale vibe. That whimsical, fairytale theme carried over into the adjoining room where tables were set up for the reception. Scrolls hung on a piece of decorated wood for the seating chart. Tables and chairs were arranged in front of the white framed fireplace. The fireplace mantle was decorated in the same flowers from the staircase tying the two spaces together in a cohesive look. The tables themselves felt like mini gardens as beautiful arrangements of flowers lined the middle of the tables.
One of my favorite details from this whimsical garden inspired wedding was the amazing cake display by It Started With A Cupcake. The three different cakes were decorated with garden elements such as butterflies, flowers, and fruit. It was a beautiful interpretation of the fairytale garden theme seen throughout the shoot. To end the shoot, the bride and groom explored the grounds of Cairnwood Estate. The grandeur of the estate’s exterior in the background of the photos provided a magical setting.
I loved the vision for this styled shoot. Styled wedding shoots are all about making a vision come to life through the creativity of the wedding vendors to provide fresh inspiration and ideas. The Cairnwood Estate’s European elegance and historic charm beautifully complemented the romantic fairytale inspired garden theme.
