This spring, I had the joy of photographing an event called Daffodils & Dish: A Spring Gathering at the Inn at Fernbrook Farms. The event welcomed wedding planners to explore the historic estate, connect with fellow creatives, and enjoy a full day of thoughtful hospitality. With florals in bloom and golden daffodils all around, the entire day felt like a warm embrace from spring.
A Spring Gathering at The Inn at Fernbrook Farms
Guests arrived at noon and were welcomed at the Inn with herbal drinks and light bites. Shortly after, we made our way to the Hoop House for a delicious seasonal lunch crafted with fresh produce from Fernbrook’s own gardens. Every table detail was stunning, from the florals by Twisted Willow to the stylish tabletop by Spoon and Salt. The hand-crafted place cards/menu cards by Papertree Studio brought a touch of refined charm to the tables.
After lunch, everyone enjoyed a scenic walk through the estate. We passed the Hearth, paused for sparkling drinks in the Sundial Garden, and took portraits in the Arboretum beneath blooming cherry blossoms. The final stop on the walk brought us to the Summer House, where afternoon tea was served in vintage Kuser Lenox China, complete with fresh-baked sweets and treats.
The day ended with a wagon ride through the farm. We visited the fields, saw the animals, and took in Fernbrook’s educational spaces before heading back. It was the perfect spring day—rich in inspiration, delicious food, and genuine connection. As a photographer, I loved capturing every thoughtful detail and sunlit moment. A Spring Gathering at The Inn at Fernbrook Farms was so lovely. This place is more than a venue—it’s a timeless, living canvas for celebration.
