Styled shoots are amazing for so many reasons! They provide inspiration for future brides and couples in the wedding planning process. Styled wedding shoots showcase potential wedding venues and the use of event space, and also allow contributing vendors to demonstrate their talents. It takes hard work from every vendor on the creative team to pull off a successful styled shoot! Needless to say, this shoot was a success! I was thrilled to photograph this Belovely Styled Wedding Shoot at Glen Foerd on the Delaware.
Having lived just 10 minutes away from Glen Foerd in Philadelphia, PA for most of my life, I grew up visiting this beautiful location! I am always drawn back to the beauty of the scenery. It is one of my favorite places to photograph my personal family photos! The views out over the water are breathtaking! In addition to the lovely views, the eighteen acre estate is meticulously kept and provides the perfect location for anyone wanting an elegant, riverside estate wedding!
Belovely Styled Wedding
The amazing floral company, Belovely, created stunning floral arrangements for the shoot, which included a classic green leaf and white floral wedding arch. They also decorated the ceiling of the wedding tent with white drapery and hanging flowers for a romantic, garden vibe. Wedding ceremonies at this venue typically take place outdoors on the beautiful grounds of Glen Foerd facing the Delaware. Whereas the receptions usually take place under a tent such as this. I love the way Belovely transformed this space into an elegant, romantic setting.
Cocktail hour is the perfect time to tour the mansion or take a stroll out on the patio to enjoy the riverfront views. The mansion is stunning and impressive with its old world charm and historic architectural details. Inside the mansion, guests can mingle while they explore the artwork decorating the stately mansion.
The bridal suite where the bride models got ready was particularly beautiful with tall windows allowing in tons of natural light complete with a charming fireplace. The suite also overlooks the water and is the perfect spot to enjoy gorgeous views while getting ready for your big day.
Whether you are outside enjoying the views of the Delaware River, walking in the formal rose garden, or taking in the artwork and historic charm, you will fall in love with Glen Foerd on the Delaware.
