Just on the outskirts of Philadelphia in Wyncote, PA is a stunning historic landmark that has been transformed into an elegant, renaissance inspired wedding venue known as the Curtis Arboretum! Tricia and Evan’s Curtis Arboretum garden wedding was a dream from beginning to end! Their day kicked off with the girls getting ready in their matching outfits and enjoying a toast with a glass of champagne!
Tricia wore a sophisticated Morilee gown with a plunging neckline. Underneath her cathedral-length veil was a show stopping hair style of loose curls and braids with intertwined beading. With bridesmaids in black gowns and Evan and his groomsmen (including their adorable pup, Finn) in tuxedos, the whole wedding party looked incredibly chic.
Curtis Arboretum Garden Wedding
Tricia and Evan shared an intimate and joyous first look, after which we explored the grounds of Curtis Arboretum finding many scenic spots to capture their wedding portraits. Tricia’s long veil flowing and wrapping around the couple made for some truly beautiful portraits! Finn joined us for a few portraits as well. He was such a well behaved pup!
Their magnificently beautiful ceremony was held outside, nestled within the historical landmark’s 45 acres. Fresh greens interlaced with white florals wove around the historic columns and trellis on the raised stone patio. Tricia and Evan exchanged vows in front of a striking stone wall, the perfect setting for their elegant and timeless day. After the couple officially said, “I do!” the guests headed into cocktail hour in the garden. Their wedding signature drink, the “Philly Squeeze,” was served on brass shelves, greeting guests.
Greenery rings, sheer white drapes, and romantic bead lights decorated the reception area. The reception tables were adorned with their own beauty: white tablecloths with black linen napkins, brass cutlery, and an intermingling of tall and low floral arrangements in classic black and white. Wooden farmhouse chairs completed the garden vintage aesthetic.
Congratulations again, Tricia and Evan! Your elegant, garden inspired wedding at Curtis Arboretum was perfect! It was an honor to be a part of your special day and capture your beautiful wedding memories!
