Dreamy Cairnwood Estate Engagement

Anytime I have the opportunity to visit Cairnwood Estate in Bryn Athyn, PA I always jump at the chance. This gorgeous venue is where I said “I do” 8 years ago! It always brings back the most wonderful memories. Needless to say, I was thrilled to capture Amanda and Joey’s dreamy Cairnwood Estate Engagement.

The couple drove over three hours each way from the NY/North Jersey area to do their engagement photos at Cairnwood Estate near where I live. Their engagement photos were well worth the drive as they are gorgeous! I had the most wonderful time photographing the couple as we explored the grounds of the estate and toured the enchanting gardens.

Amanda and Joey did an amazing job selecting outfits. They both wore neutral white clothing for our walk around the winding, paved path lined with soft hued flowers. Amanda’s white summer dress paired with Joey’s white and tan outfit, not only complemented each other, but allowed the colors and greenery of the setting to pop. For the images near the buildings and inside the estate, the couple changed into another perfectly matched outfit. I loved Amanda’s flowy dress with dainty blue florals complementing Joey’s light blue shirt. The historic architecture and elegant staircase inside the great hall provided a different, but still romantic backdrop to their photos.

The Cairnwood Estate is a picture-perfect location for a dreamy engagement session like this one or an elegant, timeless wedding. Amanda wanted her engagement photos to have an enchanting, garden-like feel with natural greenery, touches of color from flowers, and stunning architectural structures. Cairnwood Estate checked off all the boxes and is a lovely prelude to their beautiful wedding that will take place next year at the Florentine Gardens in New Jersey!
