I recently had the wonderful opportunity of capturing Evin and Zach’s elegant garden inspired wedding at The Ryland Inn in New Jersey. The Ryland Inn is a stunning 220 year old equestrian estate that is one of the top wedding venues, not only in New Jersey, but in the country! I love anytime I get to photograph this stunning venue with this modern elegance and historic charm!
Evin and Zach’s wedding was flawless from beginning to end. Their day started off rainy, but thankfully it completely cleared up. The sun even made an appearance by the time we started photos! The couple got ready at the venue, which features a bridal suite and grooms cottage! Evin and Zach both wanted their special day to be relaxed with no extra stress. Having all the events of the day take place at one location – from getting ready, wedding ceremony, and the reception – helped cut a lot of stress as there was no running around! You could tell by the smiles on their faces that they both were truly enjoying the moment, which is exactly how it should be!
Evin was calm, cool, and collected. She radiated joy the entire day and was a positively stunning bride! Her strapless wedding gown had the most beautiful, intricate detail. Once ready, she and Zach met outside the estate for a romantic first look. After their private moment together we captured the couple around the estate’s gorgeous, meticulously maintained grounds.
Elegant Garden Inspired Wedding
The bride’s wedding bouquet, by Blue Jasmine Floral was a breathtaking display of light hued flowers with pops of scarlet intermixed. I love the balance of modern and classic design in the florals, which was present throughout the entire wedding. The circular wedding arch was wrapped in the same flowers seen in Evin’s bouquet making it an eye-catching backdrop to the couple’s outdoor wedding ceremony.
The wedding arch from the ceremony was moved indoors and placed behind the couple’s sweetheart table at the reception. The blue flowers from the bride’s bouquet also made their appearance on the center of each table at the reception. The elegant chandelier which hung from The Ryland Inn’s grand ballroom featured an enchanting display of white hanging flowers. The flowers transformed the already stunning event space into a timeless, elegant garden inspired wedding.
The grand ballroom where the reception took place featured a charming stone fireplace that added to the ambiance of the evening. White candles were arranged inside the fireplace so it gave off the warm glow of a real fire. To end their magical wedding night, Evin and Zach were sent off by their wedding guests with a beautiful sparkler exit! It was a perfect ending to their perfect day!
