Intimate Wedding Ceremony

It is no secret that I love my career as a wedding photographer. I have the opportunity to meet so many wonderful couples and witness their love stories unfold on their wedding day. Weddings, in particular wedding ceremonies, are an incredibly sentimental and memorable moment. While many focus on the celebration after the ceremony, I most enjoy witnessing the union of two individuals committing to love each other and be there for one another till the end of their days. Seeing couples’ love on display for everyone and having a front row seat to the laughter, tears, and abundant joy of a wedding is what I love most. Needless to say, I was thrilled when Kristi and Hans reached out to me about photographing their Intimate Wedding Ceremony at St. David’s Episcopal Church in Wayne, PA.

This historic stone church was beautiful. It was built in 1715, but has been maintained and updated beautifully. The church was the perfect size for a small, intimate wedding like Hans and Kristi’s. They gathered together inside the church with about 20 of their closest family members and friends who were there to witness their joyful union. The church was a dazzling white inside with a high vaulted ceiling, which made the space feel so open, light, and airy. It was a photographer’s dream!

Kristi wore an elegant, long wedding dress with a plunging neckline. She looked stunning! The best man was Hans’ son, and he was right by his dad’s side the entire time. He and Kristi seemed to have a really great relationship and were so sweet together. After their beautiful wedding ceremony, they made it official and signed their marriage license before heading outside to capture a few wedding portraits around the grounds of the church. Afterwhich, the newlyweds went to dinner with their family to celebrate the joyous occasion.

I loved the quiet, intimate atmosphere surrounding Kristi and Hans wedding day. It was truly an honor to be present and witness their commitment to one another! Congratulations to you both!
