In the heart of Philadelphia’s Main Line in Villanova, Pennsylvania, I captured Sarah and Ricky’s Engagement Session at The Willows. Their romantic session felt straight out of a fairytale! The Willows, an elegant wedding venue and scenic park, features a blend of natural beauty and classic, timeless style.
The Willows has an European-style mansion that graces the landscape of Willows Park Preserve, a 49-acre public park in Villanova. Built in 1910, this historic mansion is a beautiful example of Spanish Revival style architecture. This gorgeous estate overlooks a breathtaking panorama of hills, trails, trees, and serene ponds. The Willows features a remarkable collection of mature willows, oaks, maples, and sycamores that create a lush, diverse landscape. The setting can only be described as enchanting! It was a perfect location to capture Sarah and Ricky’s romantic engagement session.
Romantic Engagement Session at The Willows
Sarah was already familiar with this park as she frequented it as a child. They chose to share a romantic picnic near the pond where the mansion could be seen off in the distance. Sitting on a blanket, they savored a glass of wine while enjoying the scenic beauty of the park and toasting to their future ahead.
Sarah, adorned in a timeless white dress and a tan wide-brimmed hat, perfectly complemented the park’s neutral color palette and timeless elegance. Ricky also wore a classic, neutral outfit sporting a light blue dress shirt and khaki dress pants.
