Barbara and Ben had the most beautiful garden summer wedding at Greenville Country Club in Wilmington, DE. The gorgeous weather on their wedding day allowed them to embrace the beauty of this historic wedding venue as they exchanged vows outside in the gardens in front of the estate.
During the ceremony, their Siblings stood up to read “letters from loved ones,” representing their only living grandfather and grandmother who were unable to attend the wedding in person. However, their presence was felt deeply through these heartfelt letters. It was such a beautiful, touching moment during the ceremony.
Greenville Country Club Wedding Venue
Planning a wedding from afar can be challenging, but Barbara and Ben had the support of Barbara’s mom, who helped plan much of the wedding since she lives locally and they currently live in Colorado. She poured her love and dedication into every detail, ensuring that their day was nothing short of magical.
The venue, Greenville Country Club, held a special place in Barbara’s heart, as her family had been a part of this Country Club for years. The brick building exterior, timeless architecture, historic charm, and surrounding greenery provided a romantic, picturesque setting for their wedding day. It is a stunning wedding venue offering both beautiful landscapes and tented reception area.
Garden Summer Wedding
Barbara and Ben’s wedding embraced summer’s beauty and bright colors. The bridesmaids wore dresses in different styles and light summer colors of dusty blue, blush pink, green, and yellow. The end result was beautiful! My favorite detail, however, were the vibrant summer florals that added pops of color and whimsy. The varying shades of pink, bright orange, and yellow flowers complemented the summer garden scenery perfectly.
The tented reception space provided a romantic atmosphere with twinkling lights stringed above, bright floral arrangements as centerpieces, and white candles flickering in clear holders.
Their garden summer wedding was a day of laughter, love, and beautiful memories. Every detail, from the heartfelt readings to the stunning florals, came together flawlessly.
