I first met Amber and Tim when I photographed their fall engagement session at Curtis Arboretum. Their love story is as sweet as they are, and their mid-June, elegant riverfront estate wedding at Glen Foerd on the Delaware was the perfect start to this new chapter in their lives as husband and wife. Amber and Tim’s wedding was a celebration of love, surrounded by the beauty of nature and the company of family and friends.
Elegant Riverfront Estate Wedding
Even though the day began with heavy thunderstorms, it cleared up just in time for us to capture stunning wedding portraits outside around the beautiful property. Glen Foerd on the Delaware, a historic and picturesque venue in Philadelphia, provided the perfect setting for their wedding day to unfold. With its classic architecture, sprawling gardens, and breathtaking waterfront views, it is a place of timeless beauty and romance.
Amber and Tim exchanged vows, at a gorgeous church. As Amber walked down the aisle in her fitted wedding gown, adorned with intricate details, all eyes were on her. A long, trailing veil cascaded behind her. Her classic white and light pink bridal bouquet was gorgeous! I loved all the florals from their wedding day by the talented Hoffman Design Group.
Every detail of their elegant wedding was planned to highlight the natural beauty of the venue and their wedding day vision from the stunning floral arrangements that took the center of each table to the beautifully curated tablescapes. The newlyweds basked in the love and excitement of the evening during their outdoor reception, adorned with twinkling lights, as they celebrated with their family and friends.
Their love Story
Amber and Tim’s love story began organically at the now-closed bar in Old City Philly, called Silence Dogoods. Since that first fateful meeting, they have been inseparable. For their proposal, Tim orchestrated a private sailboat charter where he proposed at sunset. It was nothing short of magical.
