New York City Engagement

New York City is easily one of the most popular and busiest cities in the United States. It is home to many businesses, art galleries, tourist attractions, and more. NYC is known for its constant ebb and flow of energy. For a couple like Nicole and Chris who love the energy the city provides, it was the perfect spot to capture their engagement portraits! The couple currently lives in Hoboken and both make the commute to Manhattan for work, so a New York City Engagement was a natural choice for them!

We ventured around the cobblestone streets of the Meatpacking District in New York City for their engagement! This district combines the life and energy of the city with trendy and high-end establishments that provide a sophisticated, classy vibe. We even popped into one of the establishments for the couple to share a celebration drink during their engagement portraits. I loved Nicole’s chic white dress and matching white heels! Both Nicole and Chris wore the perfect classy, neutral yet chic outfits for their New York City Engagement.

Walking around the city brought back a flood of memories from my own engagement, as Matt and I also took our engagement photos in NYC in the West Village/Greenwich Village area. Another fun fact: Matt proposed to me at Washington Square Park in NYC and we both went to NYU for undergrad and graduate school. We also lived in the city for a while too! Needless to say, New York City holds a special place in our hearts and I couldn’t have been more thrilled to be back in the city capturing this beautiful couple’s NYC Engagement portraits!

I can’t wait to see Nicole and Chris again on their wedding day! They are getting married at Indian Trail Club in Franklin Lakes, NJ, which is sure to be a magical day!
