Anytime I get to visit Glen Foerd on the Delaware, I know that I am in for a treat and will have a wonderful time. This stunning waterfront venue is known for its beauty and elegance. Ruby and Ryan’s timeless waterfront wedding at Glen Foerd on the Delaware was no exception. The views out over the water are breathtaking! In addition to the lovely views, the sprawling eighteen-acre estate is meticulously kept and provides the perfect location for anyone wanting an elegant, riverside estate wedding!
Ruby and her bridesmaids got ready for her big day in Glen Foerd’s bridal suite, which features epic views from the large windows. I was blown away by Ruby’s beauty. She is effortlessly beautiful and graceful. I gave her little to no direction during portraits. She was a natural in front of the camera. Her and Ryan both radiated with joy the entire day.
Waterfront Wedding Ceremony
After getting ready inside the elegant mansion, the couple headed outside for their timeless waterfront wedding ceremony. Their wedding took place facing the sparkling river, which was a idyllic backdrop. A Circular wedding arch wrapped in baby’s breath elevated the scenery adding more romance to the aesthetic. Ruby walked herself down the aisle and met her dad at the end of the aisle for the “giving away”. I had never seen this before, but I LOVED it! I absolutely love when couples incorporate items or events that are unique to them and make their day their own.
Both Ryan and Ruby cried as they exchanged vows. It was such a sweet, sentimental moment felt by everyone in attendance. Once they said “I do”, everyone headed to their outdoor, tented reception on the property. The reception featured stringed lights and greenery bordering the top of the tent. The beautiful wedding arch from their ceremony was moved into the reception behind them at their sweetheart table. It was a wonderful evening spent dancing under the twinkling lights celebrating Ruby and Ryan!
Ruby and Ryan, you are both such amazing people and are a perfect match. It brought me so much joy to be a part of your special day. Thank you for allowing me to capture your beautiful wedding day memories.
