Samantha and Ryan’s love story began eight years ago during their college years when they were introduced through a friend. Now, as they are preparing to embark on their own journey as husband and wife, I had the pleasure of capturing their intimate engagement session at Valley Forge, PA.
I first met Samantha and Ryan a couple years ago when they were in the wedding party of Ryan’s sister’s gorgeous Cairnwood Estate wedding. Needless to say, I am not only incredibly excited for Samantha and Ryan but also honored that they chose me to capture their own wedding day. Their big day will unfold at the Champagne Ballroom at Renault Winery next year.
Intimate Valley Forge Engagement
For their engagement session, we headed to Valley Forge, PA, which provided the perfect backdrop for their portraits. I absolutely love this spot; the soft, golden light cascading through the trees created a romantic and dreamy atmosphere and enhanced the natural beauty around them. This historic location also features the National Memorial Arch. The impressive architecture of this grand landmark was the perfect balance to the serene landscape. We also explored the trails of the national park before ending their session with a champagne toast!
Samantha and Ryan wore the perfect outfits for the location and vibe of their intimate engagement session. Samantha had her hair down in loose waves, complementing her long, flowy cream colored dress. Ryan looked charming in his white button up and tan dress pants. Their neutral color palette helped create soft, romantic imagery. Not to mention, they both radiated with happiness and love throughout the session.
Samantha and Ryan, capturing your engagement session at Valley Forge was an absolute joy, and I am grateful to be a part of this beautiful chapter in your love story. Here’s to the beginning of an incredible journey! Congratulations, Samantha and Ryan!
