There’s something magical about Philadelphia in the fall. The crisp air, golden-hued leaves, and historic charm make for an incredible setting. This was certainly the case for Caitlin and Brian’s November engagement at Rodin Museum and Merchants Exchange. These two reached out just a week before their session. From the moment I met them, I knew their session would be something special. They are planning a beautiful wedding at Elkins Estate, but for their engagement session, we explored two of Philly’s most stunning locations: the Rodin Museum and the Merchants Exchange building.
The Beauty of the Rodin Museum
The Rodin Museum which is one of Philadelphia’s most breathtaking spots. The architecture alone is a work of art, featuring grand columns, intricate sculptures, and the peaceful Dorrance H. Hamilton Garden. With the largest collection of Rodin’s work outside of Paris, the museum brings a European elegance and old-world charm right into the heart of the city.
Caitlin looked stunning in a chic black dress and heels. Brian’s charcoal suit was the perfect complement to the elegant location. Their chemistry was effortless, making it easy to capture the joy and love they share. Caitlin’s “toi et moi” ring added an extra touch of sophistication to their outfits. I loved incorporating it into the details of their session.
A Classic & Timeless Setting of Merchants Exchange
From there, we made our way to the Merchants Exchange building in Old City is truly one of my favorite locations for engagement sessions. Its grand architecture, historic columns, and cobblestone sidewalks provide a timeless and elegant feel. The marble stone facade and curved exterior are reminiscent of a classic European street. It made for the perfect backdrop to capture Caitlin and Brian’s love story.
As Caitlin and Brian wandered along the cobblestone of Old City, the soft glow of the late afternoon light created the most romantic atmosphere. As the sun began to set, casting a golden hue over the historic city, I couldn’t help but feel grateful to be a part of these special moments. Caitlin and Brian’s November engagement at Rodin Museum and Merchants Exchange was a reminder of how Philadelphia’s historic beauty enhances every love story it touches.
Congratulations, Caitlin and Brian! Your love is timeless, and I can’t wait to see the magic of your wedding day come to life at Elkins Estate.
